Soccer Tragedy

Sep 10, 2004 – Hard day at school with a history quiz right off the bat. Why was I the only one who failed it?! I might never find out. The fact was that I failed it and that was that. The rest of the school day went pretty well, though, but I still won’t be able to forgive myself for not studying for history. At about 2:45 in the afternoon, the soccer players were called out to get changed and head to the bus so we could take a ride to Post Falls. So we got on the bus and in thirty minutes time, we were at Post Falls getting ready for our soccer game.

We warmed up, got on the field, and began to play. They scored one goal on us and then another one within the next half. The final score turned out to be 2 to 0, with Post Falls winning that game.

The procedures that followed the game were relatively the same as all others; coach gave us some info on how we could have played better, we got up and yelled some random jarbish making it sound like their team name, and then we went and shook hands…those sweaty, icky, sweating hands. Did I mention they were sweaty?

Bus trip back home was very entertaining. Waving to random people to see if they would wave back, blowing our little whistles that Chris gave us really hard until we turned blue, pouring water all over our manager…it was quite entertaining.
