More What Tragedy?!

Sep 18 – What a night, sound and peaceful. This time, I was the one to wake up at six in the morning…sweet revenge? No, not this time as I was way too tired out. I decided to sleep in until I was forced to wake up. Once I officially got up, I packed up some of the stuff I wouldn’t need for the day so I wouldn’t have to do it later. I got some money and head off to the bus for a trip to our breakfast place which turned out to be Burger King. I had a milk shake with some fries while looking at a car magazine. Afterwards, the team headed back to the gym and got ready for the game against Sunny Side. We got out on the field after getting into our uniforms only to find out that we have no line refs, meaning that the offside calls would be much harder to spot. We played Sunnyside and lost 5 to 1, with Matt Seeman scoring another 45 yard goal. And guess how Sunnyside scored four of their five goals – by being offsides. More sweaty handshakes came after the game and then we were on the bus, ready to go home. A three hour bus drive with the bus being full of soccer players equals disaster. We stop at the tri-cities and get something to eat. Some got straws which they later used for something called “spitwads.” When the supply of spitwads had diminished, we got out our shaving cream (actually, I was the only one who had any) and used it to “cream” some faces. I decided to “cream” myself and found out that it works well as a gel to keep your hair the way you want it. It did smell afterwards but I could have cared less as long as it made my hair look good. We got home, cleaned out the bus which was pretty darn dirty, and then I went home and got some well deserved rest.
