Ye Olde Poem

Ye Olde Poem

Swords, daggers, spears, and arrows
Clashed together before a glorious battle
Says Thomas, Tyrant King of Talibar,
“Where we walk shall be the ground upon
which we shall fall forth…if ever we fail”
There the evil ones approach
The enemies of the Tyrants gather near
The light-giver begins to dim as the
night-bearer forms its voiceless shadows.
Darkness delivers the restless demons
into conquest of land and beliefs.

  1. This is (or was) an assignment for British Literature Class. Don’t look at me like I’m a weirdo just because I am! :-P
